4-H New Volunteer Orientations – Inspire Kids to Do!

Dodge County 4-H is seeking more amazing volunteers!

One of the first steps to become a registered 4-H volunteer is to attend a new volunteer orientation, Volunteers in Preparation (VIP). To attend the VIP orientation, click HERE to register a date.

The safety of all youth and adults is our top priority. To ensure volunteers are qualified, understand, and are prepared for their positions, Extension requires:

  1. Enroll in 4HOnline as a 4-H volunteer and sign the Extension Volunteer Behavior Expectation form and the Assumption of Risk Document (this is done as part of the registration process).
  2. Complete the Volunteers In Preparation (VIP) Training orientation – a one-time mandatory training.
  3. Submit the online background check – first year upon enrollment and every 4 years thereafter.
  4. Complete the Extension Volunteer Mandated Reporter Training (this can be done in your 4HOnline profile on your own).
