St, Beaver Dam on the third Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m.-

Dodge English Language Learners (DELL)
Dodge English Language Learners
DELL is a volunteer opportunity sponsored by the Dodge County Multi-Cultural
Coalition. Community members share their culture and knowledge of their language.
Students learn or improve English language skills essential for every day
communication and for continued success in the work place. Teachers and students
are paired one to one or work in small groups.at a time and place convenient
to both.
Teachers
- Need to be flexible and adapt to the learning needs of the
students.
- Willing to make a six- month commitment and schedule weekly
sessions with the students.
- Receive training to learn the basics of the DELL program.
Additional support is provided by the Beaver Dam Community
Library.
- "It's fun for both of us, I've learned so much," is
frequently repeated by the teachers.

Students
- Identify interests and goals of acquiring the English language;
such as speaking, writing, or reading for work or pleasure.
- Attend class on a weekly basis. Classes are usually 90 minutes
in length.
- Classes are free of charge, but please bring a notebook and
pencil to class.
- Take an assessment to identify present knowledge and skills
in English.
- Assessments will be given at the Beaver Dam Community Library.

Estudiantes de ingles de Dodge
DELL es una oportunidad voluntaria patrocinada por la Coalición Multi-Cultural
del Condado de Dodge. Miembros de la comunidad comparten su cultura y conocimiento
de su idioma. Los estudiantes aprenden o mejoran sus habilidades del idioma
inglés que es muy esencial para la comunicación diaria y para
el continuo éxito en el campo o lugar de trabajo. Los profesores y los
estudiantes son emparejados uno a uno o en grupos pequeños.
Profesores
- Deben ser flexibles y adaptables al las necesidades de los
estudiantes.
- Se cometen a un tiempo de seis meses y sesiones semanales
con los estudiantes.
- Reciben entrenamiento para aprender los métodos básicos
del programa DELL. Apoyo adicional es suministrado por la Biblioteca
de Beaver Dam.
