Dodge County UW-Extension is offering nitrate screening beginning February 1st through 2016. Water samples must be submitted in a clean jar. The cost is $3 per sample.

2014 Dodge County Agriculture Value & Economic Impact

As you will see, over 9,855 jobs (19% of the County’s jobs) and $2.9 billion of economic activity (commerce) are directly related to agriculture (34% of the County’s total economic activity). Grain is the number one agricultural commodity in Dodge County averaging $154.5 million, followed by milk averaging $149.2 million in 2012. Other commodities that made the top 5 are cattle and calves, vegetables, and pigs.
