4-H Youth Attend National 4-H Congress

Michaela Daane of Leipsic 4-H Club and Nicole Wenzel of Lomira Clover Leaves 4-H Club attended the 92nd National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia from November 27th through December 1st. Daane and Wenzel joined about sixty high school participants representing University of Wisconsin Extension 4-H Youth Development at this annual youth leadership development conference.


State Fair Dairy Promotion Board Scholarships Available

The Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board is offering $1,000 scholarships, for use during the second semester of the 2016-17 school year, to third and fourth-year college students pursuing dairy-related or food science degrees at one of Wisconsin’s four-year universities.

Youth Leadership Derby, sponsored by Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW), will be held April 16 – 17 at Brillion High School. This lock-in style event is perfect for youth who have an interest in large animal science, production agriculture, dairy food production, agriculture business, and hands-on learning.
