The UW-Extension Dodge County office and the Dodge County Forage Council will monitor and report alfalfa quality results beginning the third week in May.
A few PEAQ evaluation sticks are available yet at the UW-Extension Dodge County office for $10 each.

(WLIC) has set up a PC at the Farm Service Agency on River Drive,
Wausau, solely for the purpose of registering premises. You may
also pick up a paper application at this site to send in the mail.

has recently published a brand new Custom Rate Guide with 2007
data. It replaces the 2004 version. This publications has summarized
rates paid by farmers for all types of custom work. Available

2008 Pesticide Applicator Training - Dodge County UW-Extension offers Pesticide Applicator Training (PAT) opportunities for private pesticide applicators that purchase, mix, load or apply RESTRICTED-USE agricultural pesticides to their property, rented property, or the property of his/her employer. Minimum Wages Increase
for Ag Workers - On June 1, 2005 Wisconsin's minimum wage
for adults increased for the first time since 1997. For agricultural
workers over age 18, that means an increase from $4.05 to $5.15
per hour. For workers age 17 and under, the rate increases from
the previous rate of $3.70 to $4.25. The rate increases for Wisconsin
agricultural workers is the same as required by the federal government
for agricultural workers.
