BOB KAISER - Agriculture Dairy Agent
I was raised on a farm in northwestern Wisconsin (Polk County)
where my parents still reside. I attended UW-River Falls from
1974-78 where I obtained an Agriculture Education degree. I was
the Vocational Agriculture Instructor at Rio High School from
1978-80 and then spent a short time with a major feed manufacturer
as a salesman/consultant. From 1981-88 I served as the Agriculture
Agent in Lincoln County, taking time out in 1985-86 to earn a
Master of Science degree from the UW-Madison Dairy Science Department.
In January of 1988, I joined the UW-Extension Dodge County team
as Dairy Agent, and on April 1, 1998.
Bob has an 60% appointment in Dodge County and as an Outreach
Educator for UW-Madison, Department of Dairy Science (40%).
As Dairy Agent/Outreach Educator, Bob develops educational programs
and creates awareness of University of Wisconsin (and other credible
institutions) research findings in dairy cattle production, management
and marketing.
Program goals are accomplished through individual instruction,
group teaching, mass media releases and by serving as an educational
advisor to dairy related organizations and groups.
