DODGE COUNTY 4-H ENDOWMENT FUND

Purpose
- To receive memorials, gifts and bequests for the support, expansion and promotion of the Dodge County 4-H program
Why the Endowment Fund?
- The Dodge County 4-H Endowment Fund was established to provide funding for educational and leadership opportunities for 4-H youth and adults. Support for the Endowment Fund ensures continuation of educational youth development programs to help youth learn important life skills and to become responsible, productive citizens.
- Through the establishment of the Endowment fund in 1996, the Dodge County 4-H program is able to accept “special” gifts and memorials.
How does the Fund work?
- The Endowment Fund is a depository of gifts and donations for the Dodge County 4-H program.
- Only the interest earned will be used to fund innovative and educational programs that support the strengthening and expansion of the 4-H program in Dodge County.
- The Endowment Fund committee will annually invite grant proposals from 4-H subcommittees, the 4-H Leaders’ Association and UW-Extension Agents. The committee will then select which of those programs to fund.
