New Master Gardeners Educational Display Garden
In 2013, The Dodge County Master Gardener Association designed and planted an educational display garden at the Dodge County Administration Building, 127 E. Oak Street, Juneau. The garden is located on the east side of the building, outside the University of Wisconsin Extension (UWEX) Office.
Certified Master Gardeners maintain this garden, and have identified each plant with a marker to help viewers learn what the plants are. The Master Gardeners also developed educational reference material about the display garden plants including each plant’s photo, description, growing conditions and care. Information is located in the Master Gardener section of this website.
This new community garden was made possible through generous support and/or contributions from Dodge County Administration, Dodge County Highway Department, Dodge County Maintenance Department, Dodge County UW-Extension, Bennett’s Nursery, Borden’s Green Acres, Village Flower Shoppe, and many Master Gardener Volunteers’ home gardens.
The Administration Building Display Garden will be an ongoing project. Master Gardener Association Volunteers will periodically change the plants for the enjoyment of the viewers. Questions about this garden, or any other gardening questions, can be sent to email@example.com.
